These terms explain how Aries Vane Gear handles orders, delivery, returns and service. They apply to purchases made through this website, by email, or after direct contact with Aries Vane Gear.

Products and compatibility
Aries Vane Gear sells windvane steering systems, spare parts, rebuild kits and related accessories. Product descriptions, prices and availability are shown as accurately as possible. Because boats and stern layouts differ, customers should check compatibility before ordering and contact Aries Vane Gear when in doubt.
Prices, VAT and payment
- Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable.
- Contact Aries Vane Gear for products, prices and availability.
- Shipping costs and any available delivery options are confirmed by email before an order is agreed.
- Orders are confirmed after Aries Vane Gear confirms availability, pricing, delivery and payment details by email.
- If a price or product detail is clearly incorrect, Aries Vane Gear may correct the mistake before accepting the order.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery times depend on the product, stock and destination. Aries Vane Gear will confirm or discuss delivery details when needed, especially for complete windvane systems, special parts or workshop service. Unless a different delivery period is agreed, consumer orders are delivered within 30 days or the customer may cancel the purchase and receive a refund.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers who buy standard products online normally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To use this right, notify Aries Vane Gear before the withdrawal period expires, for example by email or through the contact form.
- After giving notice, return the product without undue delay and within 14 days.
- The customer pays the return shipping costs unless Aries Vane Gear agrees otherwise.
- Products may be inspected as in a normal shop, but the customer can be responsible for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect the product.
- Custom-made, personalised or specially modified products may be excluded from withdrawal where the law allows this.
- Business orders and custom workshop arrangements may have different return arrangements agreed in writing.

Returns and exchanges
Please contact Aries Vane Gear before sending a product back, so the return address and practical details can be confirmed. Return products complete, properly packed and, where possible, in the original packaging. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless another method is agreed.
Warranty and conformity
Customers keep their statutory rights. If a product is defective, incomplete or not as reasonably expected, contact Aries Vane Gear with the order details and photos where useful. Installation, mounting and use must follow the applicable manuals and instructions. Damage caused by incorrect mounting, misuse, poor maintenance or normal wear is not covered beyond mandatory legal rights.
Complaints, privacy and law
Complaints can be sent to info@ariesvanegear.com. Aries Vane Gear will try to respond within a reasonable time. Personal data is used to handle product requests, agreed orders, delivery, service and administration; see the Privacy Policy. Dutch law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in the customer’s country of residence.
